I don’t have motivation to train every day, which is fine. I don’t train every day.
But 5 to 6 times a week I lace up my shoes and get it done anyway. Not because I’m special. But because I know my life is better if I do.
Sometimes I fight it. I procrastinate. I don’t knock every session out of the park.
But my life is still better for it.
Whenever you can’t be fucked, lace up your shoes anyway.
Motivation comes from action.
Give yourself 10-minutes.
If you still can’t be fucked after 10-minutes, call it a day and come back tomorrow.
But, pay attention.
If this is happening more often than not, it’s time to take a look at what you’re trying to achieve.
Why are you training?
Is your training program as boring as bat shit? Does it challenge you? Does it excite you?
Is your training program tailored to your needs and goals?
Could you be getting your daily dose in some other way?
Motivation comes and goes. You can’t rely on it. Sometimes you have to suck it up and get shit done. And sometimes, you need to be doing different shit.
Need someone to give you a kick up the arse occasionally? I might know someone who can help. 😉
